Mind-body exercise and pelvic health, with guest Rebecca Carey, DPT, on Upstate's "The Informed Patient" podcast

Slow, low-intensity exercises can benefit both sexes

Mind-body exercises -- which are of a relatively low intensity and slowly paced -- have mental and physical benefits, which are detailed by Upstate doctor of physical therapy Rebecca Carey.  She also discusses why pelvic floor exercises are important for both women and men. Carey is the lead physical therapist for the oncology program at Upstate; she has an interest in integrative medicine and pelvic health and has taught yoga for several years.
